In 2024 Rights Centre released its study on application of measures of restraints-house arrest and administrative supervision. This study was conducted within the framework of the “For Effective Application of Criminal and Administrative Proceedings and Judicial Acts” project, implemented in cooperation with the Law Protection and Development Foundation.

As a result of the research, issues concerning the application of house arrest and administrative supervision as preventive measures were identified, and recommendations for improving the system were developed. In addition, a checklist for judges was prepared for use when making decisions regarding house arrest.

The ultimate goal of the study is to ensure the more effective protection of human rights during criminal proceedings, particularly concerning the application of house arrest and administrative supervision as preventive measures.
