On December 16, 2024 a webinar on “INTERPOL” focused on practical steps for engaging with the Commission for the Control of INTERPOL’s Files was conducted by Oleksandr Ovchynnikov, a lawyer from the Strasbourg Bar Association. The webinar was designed for lawyers. The topics included information related to protective statuses, and the appropriate types of requests: informational requests, preventive requests, data deletion, and appeals. Participants gained insights into key grounds for data removal, such as political motives and human rights violations.
