Rights Centre NGO invites you to participate in a webinar on the UN Working Group on Arbitrary Detention, which will take place on March 29 from 14:00 to 15:00 (Yerevan time). The webinar will be conducted in Russian and will feature a keynote speech by Dr. Ganna Yudkivska, Deputy Chair of the UN Working Group on Arbitrary Detention.

Brief Biography of Ms.  Ganna Yudkivska:

Dr. Yudkivska is a board member of the European Society of International Law. From 2010 to 2019, she served as a judge at the European Court of Human Rights. Between 2009 and 2010, she worked as an advisor to the Council of Europe’s Commissioner for Human Rights. From 1995 to 2001, she led a genocide legacy research program in Ukraine and Moldova.

Dr. Yudkivska holds a law degree from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (Ukraine) and Strasbourg University III (France). She has taught public international law and human rights at universities in the United States, France, Germany, and the United Kingdom. She is also the author of numerous academic publications on human rights.
