Legal Consultations and Strategic Litigation

Right Centre’s legal consultation services, strategic litigation and third party intervention efforts are designed to ensure that victims of human rights abuses have access to justice and the opportunity to seek redress.

Comprehensive Legal Consultations:

The Centre’s seasoned human rights lawyers provide expert legal consultations to individuals, organizations, CSOs and communities who have experienced violations of their fundamental rights. Centre’s legal team offers guidance on the most effective legal strategies for addressing these violations. We assist victims in understanding their rights, exploring their legal options, and navigating the complexities of both national and international legal systems. The consultations are tailored to the specific needs of each case, ensuring that victims receive the personalized support they deserve.

To request consultation, kindly fill out the online inquiry form and the Centre’s legal experts will respond if the request is within the scope of our mission and activities. The requests may be made in Armenian, English or Russian.

Strategic Litigation on Behalf of Human Rights Victims:

Rights Centre is dedicated to pursuing justice for human rights victims through strategic litigation before international judicial and quasi-judicial bodies. We represent victims in cases before the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR), the United Nations Human Rights Committee, and other international human rights mechanisms. The litigation efforts are also focused on setting important legal precedents that not only provide redress to individual victims but also contribute to broader systemic changes in human rights law, policies and practice. The Centre’s work contributes to the development of a more just and equitable legal framework, both in Armenia and beyond. More than 55 cases have been lodged with the ECtHR.

To maximize the admissibility and persuasiveness of an application at international level, it is highly recommended to contact the Centre from the very outset of proceedings before the national authorities.
